Journal containing holograph notes on Nassau William Senior's visit to Paris, 29 March-2 May 1863. It includes conversations with: Lavergne; Lanjuinais; Prince Napoleon; Jules Simon; Mdme. Cornu; Corcelle; Drouyn de l'Huys Thiers; Montalembert; Dayton; Circourt; Duchatel; Dumon; Michel Chevalier, Auguste Chevalier; Renan; Buffet; Broglie; Guizot; Changarnier; Don Guitierrez de Estrade; John Murray Forbes (1813-1898); William M. Evarts (1818-1901); Hotze et al. The conversations relate mainly to the political situation in France, Poland, USA and Mexico.
