Exchange by 1 to 2 in fee farm of m's and lands called Sarn Vorfydd, Tithin Y Skibawr,Tithin Ll'n ap Tudder,Tithin Yr Orsedd alias Y Kefn Du (except 2 closes called Pen y Braich), Y Tithin yn llaw Thomas ap John, Tithin John Mason, Tithin y Corne (tenants named), all part of t. Eskiviocke, [p. Llanfihangel Ysgeifiog], co. Ang., for lands and tmt's (unspecified) in t. Eskiviocke about the value of 1/2 of the said t. from 2 to 1, assigned by lease of even date by 2 to Griffith Bagnall, second son of 1 for 30 yrs. Crown rent: £3.14.4 payable by 2 and £3.14.4 payable by 1. Recites that t. Ysgeifiog with licence to mine and sell coal there was granted by Letters Patent, respectively to William Sackville (13 Sept. 1528) for 40 yrs, Nicholas Bagnall, kt, (1 July 1565) for 25 yrs, Henry Harvie, esq., (16 Dec. 1575) for 30 yrs, and to Nicholas Bagnall, kt, (14 Jan. 1576/7) in capite by 1/20 of a knight fee, each at annual crown rent of £7.8.8; that the reversion of the said t. after death of Nicholas Bagnall is descended to 1, his son and heir. Power of Attorney granted by 1 to Richard Griffith, gent., to perfect a livery of seisin of property from 1 to 2. Copy.
