The show, premiered in Wales in 2003, was the product of a collaboration between Earthfall and Polish performance company Chorea which began a long-standing partnership between the two groups. Bakkus, an exploration of fanaticism and cultism, was Earthfall's third collaboration with Poland's Chorea theatre company and toured in both Wales and Poland.
