Sir James Lewis Knight-Bruce (1791-1866); Sir Richard Malins (1805-82); Faucher; Guilhaud de Lavergne (1809-80); Pierre Dumon (1797-1870); Auguste Chevalier, et al. There are extracts from Marshal Bugeaud's memoir of the events of 1848 and lengthy descriptions of the Pyrenees and S's journey through France.
