Eighteen diaries and notebooks containing memoranda and accounts by Howell Vaughan, 1663, Katherine, widow of Griffith Wynn of Bodfean, and later wife of Colonel Hugh Nanney, 1692, Hugh Evans, agent to the said Katherine, 1682-1690, Lumley Williams of Ystumcolwyn, 1696, Robert Vaughan of Hengwrt, 1745 , and others.
Several of the diaries, which include almanacks by Trigge, Gallen, and Rider and the Daily Journal, contain entries relating to the Nannau estate. Rider's British Merlin for 1698 contains a few englynion in manuscript, and in one notebook there are inventories of linen and utensils at Nannau, 1692.

Twenty three letters written by Mrs Baker (eight of them from Bryn Adda) to Hugh Vaughan, Esq. They refer to the course of a lawsuit touching the possession of Nanney estate in which he was involved.

Fifty letters from Mrs Margaret Lloyd of Gwerclas to Mrs Baker (thirty one addressed to Hengwrt). No. 208 is written by Mr Lloyd on account of his wife's illness, and nos 225-231 are undated. The letters are personal in nature and express the writer's admiration for Mrs Baker. In no. 200 she desires to know the steps which Mrs Baker had travelled on her way to Parnassus. They contain references to the Corwen Races 1772 (no. 183); to the general election, 1774 (nos 192-3, 198); to a scheme to help the poor (nos 192-4); to Mr Vaughan's victory in the bird fights (no. 204), and to the sale of Sir R. Cotton's Welsh estate (no. 209). A pattern of cloth for Mrs Baker's opinion is attached to no. 199.

Undated reminiscences, [1954x1987], about Dylan Thomas by Wynford Vaughan Thomas, comprising two incomplete manuscripts, 'Dylan after death', (1 f.), and untitled, (2 pp.), and two typescript copies entitled 'Dylan Thomas', (2 ff.), and 'My private Dylan', (3 pp.); together with a letter, 1963, from Colin D. Edwards, regarding his intention to record the recollections of Dylan Thomas's friends, and a reply by Wynford Vaughan Thomas.
