Letter of John Lloyd to his cousin Walter Vaughan, esq., complaining of the neglect of the recipient in not communicating with the writer in certain affairs and expressing satisfaction that the recipient will repair all for the writer's good. Reference is made to Sir Robert Nanton's assignment and recipient bond. Writer is recently returned from Cardiganshire, and spoke with no one at Llanstiphan except Thomas Browne. If Mr. Haward distrains, they may send to recipient for replevin in writer's name. Writer discusses the dispute between himself and Mr. Haward concerning the tithes and rents of the church and lordship of Llanstiphan. Writer has heard that Mr. Fraunces Lloyd, his deputy, intends to hold a court on Thursday next following. He adds a further note about the replevin of tithes.
