Breconshire and Herefordshire survey,

Volume intitled 'Survey. Breconshire estates. 1820', being a survey of the Breconshire and Herefordshire estates of Sir Charles Morgan, presented to him by Thomas Bold, agent, March 1821. The estates are divided into the Tredegar estate (4,555a), Dderw estate (1,572a.), Palleg estate (2,164a.) and Herefordshire estate (487a.), and include interests in canals and other utilities.

'Notae'

Forty-seven volumes of 'notae' or abstracts and extracts, principally of Monmouthshire interest, compiled from original records in both public and private possession. With the exception of letters and some insets they are all in the autograph of Bradney. Papers of Thomas Francis, senior

The file contains papers of F. E. Llewellyn Jones's, grandfather, Thomas Francis of Blackmoore Farm, Abbeydore, Herefordshire, mainly probate, executorship and death duty papers, and accounts of his father Phillip Francis of Coity Mawr, Llanfeugan, Breconshire, farmer, who died in 1851. It also includes an agreement for letting Blackmoore Farm, and authority for his wife to continue farming.
