A notebook used by Joseph Jenkins to chronicle his journey from Trecefel, Tregaron, December 1868, to Liverpool, and from Liverpool to Melbourne, Australia, March 1869, on board the SS Eurynome, including his observations on the sailing conditions, many poems inspired by his experiences at sea, and his early impressions of his adopted country .
