Research of Dr John Roderick Walters, Abergavenny, into the phonology of the accent of English in the Rhondda Valleys, South Wales. The study includes interviews with members of the workman's Clubs in the Valleys communities, audio recordings, PDF files of the transcripts, an analysis and findings. The research findings were published in his PhD thesis: A study of the segmental and suprasegmental phonology of Rhondda Valleys English, at the then University of Glamorgan, 1999.
