Abstract of Cwrtmawr deeds and documents,

A typewritten catalogue, with some manuscript insertions, by Francis Green, St Davids of deeds and documents, sixteenth to nineteenth century, in the possession of J. H. Davies [i.e. the Cwrtmawr collection of deeds now in the National Library of Wales and described in detail in a typewritten catalogue (1956)] relating to the families of 'Saunders of Pendine, Vaughan of Jordanston, Warren of Trewern, Allen of Cresselly, Philipps of Trellewellin (Manerawen), Price of Pendine, Williams of Dolgwm, Lewis of Llanveyney (Llangurig), Nelthorpe of Carmarthen, Shorter of London, Owen of Orielton, Lloyd of Peterwell, Powell of Mydrim, Wilkin of Lanrian, Higgon of Spittle, Williams of Pencarreg, Stedman of Strata Florida, Lewis of Llysnewydd and Herbert of Llanvihangel y Croythin', and of deeds and documents, sixteenth to seventeenth century, from the same collection relating to properties in Cardiganshire.

Arms of Pembrokeshire families

A heraldic manuscript probably compiled by, and in the hand of, George Owen, in which he blazons the arms of over sixty members of eminent Pembrokeshire families. The work contains some gaps and later additions and corrections have been added by George Owen.

NLW MS 11689A ('9fed Bregeth Lyfr Cymreig') was compiled at Tyddyn, parish of Whitchurch-in-Cemais, during the period 1852-1854, and NLW MS 11690A ('18 Bregeth Lyfr Cymreig') at Caeraeron, parish of Llanfyrnach, co. Pembroke, during 1873-1876.

Pembrokeshire sheriffs

A list of the sheriffs of Pembrokeshire, 1540-1668. Stitch marks at the foot of the roll suggest that the list was once longer. There are also columns for their deputies and the recorders or county clerks, but these are empty.

Miscellaneous manuscript and printed material, 1775-1870, relating to Captain John Phillips of Liverpool, his heirs, and the Smalls Lighthouse on the Pembrokeshire coast, the building of which he instigated, including two broadsides, articles of agreement, legal opinions, autograph letters and the signed document by which Phillips transferred the management of the lighthouse to Trinity House.

Pembroke, shoemaker, mainly recording names of preachers, with texts of sermons, at Pontgarreg, Cenarth, and other Calvinistic Methodist chapels, as well as at Association and other CM meetings, in counties Carmarthen and Pembroke, together with occasional references to family and local events. The volume also includes transcripts of hymns and other verse, and other miscellaneous memoranda.
