A letter-book containing copies of letters, 1804-1811, from Sir Harford Jones Brydges to James Willis, Alexander Straton, Peter Tooke, [Richard Colley Wellesley] the Marquess Wellesley, the Honourable Jonathan Duncan, Alexander Adamson, Henry Dundas, first viscount Melville, John Innes, Sir Hugh Inglis, bart, Sir Uvedale Price, Robert, viscount Castlereagh and 2nd marquess of Londonderry, William Ramsay, John Griffith, Richard Worthington, Jacob Bosanquet, Samuel Johnson, Charles Forbes, William Bruce, Charles Richard Vaughan, Henry Vaughan, M.D., Charles Grant (senior), Charles Arbuthnot, Sir George Cornewall, bart, John Law, Isaac Morier, Henry Whitecombe, etc. Most of the letters were written in Baghdad.

A letter-book, 1791-1792, kept by Harford Jones when he was Point Factor for the East India Company at Scherauz, Bussora (Basra), Baghdad, etc. Among the correspondents to whom he wrote are Samuel Manesty, Charles Watkins, Sir William Jones, Sir Robert Ainslie, bart, William Francklin, and the Secret Committee of the Directors of the Honourable East India Company.

A letter-book containing copies of letters sent by Lieutenant-Colonel (afterwards General) Sir John Malcolm, Indian administrator, diplomatist and author, mainly to Richard Colley Wellesley, second earl of Mornington and Marquess Wellesley, Governor-General of India, together with copies of various enclosures, nearly all of them concerned with his visit to Persia as envoy.
