[Street scene]

An unidentified quiet street with the gable end of a large building, possibly an educational establishment, prominent. The street is cobbled with tramlines in the centre.

[Large Building]

The gable end of a large building, possibly a church, including the entrance and numerous ornate windows. Image of poor quality.

[Farm in winter]

A lantern slide of a light fall of snow over a field, small wooded valley and farmhouse. Location unknown.

[Farmhouse]

A lantern slide of a farmhouse in a steep sided valley. The house appears to be made of stone and slate and not to be half-timbered. Location unknown.

Penyllan

A two storey brick built house being renovated. Three workmen are on scaffolding around one of the chimney stacks.

[Town Square with market and a bullock cart.]

A lantern slide of a town square in which there is a busy street market. The town is ringed by hills and a cart drawn by a cow / bullock. The dress of the man on the extreme right of the picture is suggestive of the Carpathians.

[Commercial Street with Mountains beyond.]

A lantern slide of a busy commercial street. The street leads in the direction of a very steep mountain. This could be the view captioned 'Kronstadt, street & spur of Carpathians above' on the manuscript list enclosed in the box.

[Mountain scenery]

A lantern slide of a range of mountain peaks and ridges in the middle distance. This could possibly be the image listed as 'Kronstadt, view of Carpathians from summit of hill' on the list enclosed with the box.
