Ernst to John Benn Walsh at Florence, Nov. 1818 - Dec. 1819 (ff. 148-9, 158-9); letters from Elizabeth Walsh to John Walsh, Nov. 1818 - Feb. 1819 (ff. 150-5) and a letter from Catherine Plowden from Macao to Margaret Walsh, Feb. 1819 (ff. 156-7). Almost all the letters relate to personal and family matters but many contain descriptions of Italy and of social life there.
