Letter from Da[vid] Evans, Nicholaston, to Richard [Smallbrooke], bishop of St. Davids, London, concerning the design of Erasmus Lewis of London, a native of Abergwilly, to deprive the writer of the curacy of Llanrhydian, instigated largely by William Thomas who got a stipend of £20 per annum from Mr. Christopher Mansel for preaching weekly in a chapel in the parish of Llanrhydian and encroached on the cuate's rights; the sequestration of the writer's living in Carmarthen by Bishop Oateley and the legal costs of removing the same.
