Hymn tune index

A card index compiled by J. Lloyd Williams, listing the titles of hymn tunes, including sol-fa notation and sometimes the words of hymns. This sequence is followed by an index to journals relating to Welsh music and collections of early Welsh poetry, together with cards noting historical landmarks, 178-949 AD.

Autographs and photographs

A volume of autographs, greetings and verses, 1901-1920, presented to J. Lloyd Williams by members of Bangor University Welsh Company ('Cwmni Cymreig Coleg y Brifysgol, Bangor') in recognition of the pleasure and experience which they had received during performances of Aelwyd Angharad and Cadifor, 1901-1902. Four photographs, apparently relating to performances of Aelwyd Angharad, are also included.

Preparatory notes for lectures and addresses on congregational singing, including material relating specifically to the Gymanfa Ganu and to the conducting of congregational singing. A few notes relating to conducting in general are also included.
