File contains the minutes of the North Wales Women's Liberal Federation (1938-19441) along with the minutes of the Caernarvonshire (County) Women's Liberal Constituency Council (1938-1940) and various newspaper reports of meetings and local political stories. some minutes have been recorded in Welsh.

Original file of letters, including from Monnowdean, Monmouth, Jan.-Nov. 1938, Cathedral Road, Cardiff, Feb. 1939, and St Georges Square, London SW1, June-Sept. 1939, then Shirley Park, East Croydon, with the 99th (London Welsh) A.A. Regiment, Sept. 1939-May 1940, and Scarborough, co. York, with the 125th O.C.T.U., May 1940. The letters include the start of the Second World War, including signing up with Lloyd James the announcer, 1 Sept. 1939. Six letters in envelopes found loose have been added.

Original bundle of letters and cards from John Wyn Griffiths and his father, Llewelyn Wyn Griffith of Berkhamsted, co. Herts, to Geoffrey Woolley, mainly 10 Nov. 1939-10 Nov. 1953, plus single items 1970, 1976 and 1977, including Llewelyn's criticism of Woolley's first novel, 15-26 March 1940, news that John was reported missing, 30 March 1942, and an invitation to the presentation of the Cymmrodorion Medal to Llewelyn, March 1970.

Original bundle of letters from Raymond 'Nik' Alderson to Geoffrey Woolley, 19 Jan. 1939-3 May 1941. Many of the letters are undated, or with the date Woolley noted on them. Raymond Alderson was a lieutenant in the Friends' Ambulance Unit, attached to the 1st Div. Free French Forces, when he was killed at Tobruk, Libya, 14 Feb. 1942, having served in Syrian and the Western Desert. The letters include an appreciation by Ian Scott-Kilvert, copies of letters of condolence to his parents, and letters from 'Sandy' to Woolley, usually on Friends' Ambulance Unit paper and usually only dated with month and date, but including 18 Dec. 1941-17 Aug. 1947.

Original bundle of letters and invoices from booksellers, including John & Edward Bumpus, Robert Chris, Foyle's Welsh Company Ltd and the Times Book Club, all of London, and James G. Commin of Exeter, Frank Drayton of Bournemouth, and Elkin Mathews of Bishop Stortford. The Robert Chris letters mix personal news and business.

Also deeds and documents relating to Lord Ogmore's purchase of a partnership in the solicitors Merriman, White & co., 1952, the dissolution of the partnership, 1956, and Lord Ogmore's annuity as retiring partner, 1959-1960.

Volume containing diary entries, poems and extracts. The diary ends with this entry: "September 4. War started on the 2nd. I had joined the London-Welsh the day before, and from the 4th my journal is to be kept more compactly. Peace shall bring me back to this book, so cumbersome according to kit-bag standards. God speed my return to these pages."

Lancs, around a nucleus of officers and other ranks from the 59th Anti-Tank Regiment RA. Second Lieutenant G. D. Woolley RA was posted to the unit from the 1st Reserve Field Regiment.

Cast list and synopses of chapters I-XV of 'Ecladon', with autobiographical touches. From the other end of the volume, drafts of poems, [Christmas card?] lists, notes for his diary, curriculum vitae etc.
