Police book containing a daily record of the duties of police constables stationed at Adpar, Newcastle Emlyn, co. Cardigan, with entries by PC David Davies, October 1870 - May 1874, and PC Thomas Jones, May - October 1874. Includes an entry relating to John Foster (f. 76), reputedly the last person to be put in the stocks in Cardiganshire (see George Eyre Evans, Aberystwyth and its Court Leet ... (Aberystwyth, 1902), pp. 103-4). Also included are general orders of the Chief Constable of Cardiganshire, 1870-4 (ff. 194-9).

The reports bear the signatures of officials of the Association.

An album containing a poem 'The Adventures of a Four in Hand' giving an account of a coach excursion from Llandudno through Betws-y-coed and Bethesda in 1889. The poem and the skilfully executed pen-and-ink illustrations are noted as being the work of Isidore Gotz and E. Wood Calvert and the volume is dedicated by them to Leonora Cecil Maud Gotz (sister of Isidore Gotz) on her 21st birthday, 10 February 1890. A poem 'To My Sister Nora', dated at Hannover 8 February 1889, found loose inside, has been tipped in (f. 13).

A copy of Evan Griffiths, Esponiad ar y Bibl Sanctaidd ... Cyfrol IV (Abertawy, 1835) with leaves pasted to the stubs of leaves excised at the beginning of the volume, on which Wiliam Siôn (1874-1947), Cefn Cribwr, Tythegston, later of Cymer, Glyncorrwg, co. Glamorgan, has transcribed, 1929, Welsh poetry in strict metre from Cardiff MS 5.44, 'Llyfr Hir Llanharan' (written c. 1613, by Llywelyn Siôn), ff. 1-14 and compiled lists of the contents of the original manuscript (ff. iv, xix-xxxi verso), of the poets whose works it contains (ff. xi-xvi verso, xxxii-iv) and of the patrons to whom they sang (ff. v-x). Also included are a biographical note on Llywelyn Siôn (f. iii verso), and a brief account of 'Y Wentaeg', the Welsh dialect of Gwent, Morgannwg and part of Brycheiniog (f. lxxxi recto-verso).

They comprise parts for violin 1 (2 copies: ff. 1-12, 13-24), violin 2 (2 copies: ff. 25-36, 37-48), cello and bass (2 copies: ff. 49-62, 63-74), flute (ff. 75-82), oboe (ff. 83-8), clarinet (ff. 89-98), drums and triangle, etc. (ff. 99-100), all apparently orchestrated by J. Charles McLean.
