Heads of an agreement made between Edward Mansel of Henllys, and Thomas, Lord Mansel, Baron of Margam, the latter to have the entire management of the real estate of the said Edward, etc. Signed by the parties.
Appointment (demise? for 100 years) by Thomas, Lord Mansell, Baron of Margam, to Richard Young and John Godschall of London, merchants in trust for the raising of certain annuities and capital sums out of various manors and lands, for the maintenance and benefit of his younger children by Martha Millington his wife, and for marriage portions for his dau's, viz., £200 to his son, Christopher, £5 to his daughter Martha, £2,995 to his daughter Elizabeth, and £5,000 to his daughter Mary, at marriage. Glam., the manor of Landough, and m's and lands in Landough and St Mary Church, the manor of Coulston alias Colwinston, the Rectory and Tithe Barn of Lalleston, etc., in Lalleston and Wick, same co. Endorsed: Surrender by Joseph Musgrave of the premises, to Edmund Probyn and another, for £5,000, paid by Dame Elizabeth Shovell of Mayplace, Crayford, Kent, as part of £20,000, to be paid to the said Lord Mansel for a marriage portion, which Sir Robert Mansel is to have with Anne, daughter of the said Elizabeth. Signed and sealed by Lord Mansel.

Accounts of money due by the Rt. Hon. Thomas, Lord Mansel, to several persons for work done in unlading two vessels that brought Cornish and Welsh tilestones to Lambrook for repairs.
Acquittances for various works performed at Margam, including £1 7s. 6d. 'for makeing a new Dial plate instead of an old one that was rotten and wore out on ye Tower at Margam belonging to the Greate Clock', and 3s. 'paid for drink to the people that assisted to putt up the said Dial plate'. 25th Dec., 1729.
Mortgage (Demise for 500 years) by the Hon. Christopher Mansell of Newick, Sussex, esq., to John Hopkins and John Howell, of Lincoln's Inn, of 2 messuages and lands, called Fen Llwyne Evan Gwent and Hendre Vassett (700 a.) in the parish of Llandevoduck, co. Glam., and 2 messuages and lands called Tyr Pant y Cornell and Tyr Hene, in the same parish, in trust for securing £2,000 and interest to John Hanbury of Pontpool, co. Mon., esq., and then in trust for the Rt. Hon. Thomas, Lord Mansell, Baron of Margam, an infant aged 11 years, Thomas Cradock, gentleman, being receiver appointed by the High Court of Chancery of the Estate of the said infant. Signed and sealed. With assignments endorsed, and a receipt for £2,000 and £40 interest, by Capel Hanbury to the Rev. Mr Talbott, 1 June 1756. With counterpart signed by John Hanbury.
Mortgage (Lease and release) for £2,000 between (1) Thomas, Lord Mansel; (2) Hon. Christopher Mansel of Newick, Sussex, esq., and Hon. Bussy Mansel of Britton ferry, co. Glam., esq.; (3) Watkin Jenkins of Margan; and (4) Sir Rob. Smith of St Ann's, Westminster, bart, of the, whereby Lord Mansel conveys to Watkin Jenkins the m. called Michaelstone Farm in Pile and Kenfig, same co., by way of security to the said Sir Rob. Smith in trust for the Countess of Bristol; the said Bussy agreeing, upon certain contingencies arising, to suffer a common recovery of the property to the same use.
