A tune-book, [1880-1884], which once belonged to Ylltyr Williams, Dolgellau, containing traditional harp tunes; together with transcripts by J. Lloyd Williams and others from the Ylltyr Williams Manuscripts, [1900x1940].

A melody in manuscript form, [?mid-19 cent.], entitled 'Marchnad Penmorfa neu Groesaw'r Wenynen', with annotations; cyclostyled copies of hymns by E. Thomas, Benllech, and Sissie Hughes; and a song by Robert Bryan.

A card index compiled by J. Lloyd Williams, listing the titles of hymn tunes, including sol-fa notation and sometimes the words of hymns. This sequence is followed by an index to journals relating to Welsh music and collections of early Welsh poetry, together with cards noting historical landmarks, 178-949 AD.

Notes and quotations from various sources relating mainly to folk songs and melodies. They include items relating to J. Lloyd Williams's proposed publication of folk songs for schools.

A volume of autographs, greetings and verses, 1901-1920, presented to J. Lloyd Williams by members of Bangor University Welsh Company ('Cwmni Cymreig Coleg y Brifysgol, Bangor') in recognition of the pleasure and experience which they had received during performances of Aelwyd Angharad and Cadifor, 1901-1902. Four photographs, apparently relating to performances of Aelwyd Angharad, are also included.
