[Corporal, Pembrokeshire Yeomanry]

A corporal in the Pembrokeshire Yeomanry seated in front of a bell tent, presumably during a Territorial Army summer camp. His uniform, including a pillbox hat is more reminiscent of the nineteenth rather than the twentieth century.

D C Harries, Rhosmaen Street, Llandilo.

[Couple on a Rustic Bench]

Studio portrait of a couple seated on a rustic bench. The man is in military uniform which includes the economy tunic introduced in 1914, his cap on the lap of the woman (his wife?) next to him. The regimental cap badge is that of the Welsh Regiment and is facing the camera. The woman is wearing a Welsh Regiment sweetheart's badge.

D C Harries, Rhosmaen Street, Llandilo.

[Five Horsemen, possibly Montgomeryshire Yeomanry]

Five mounted soldiers, cap badges indistinct but possibly that of the Montgomeryshire Yeomanry. All are astride horses standing in shallow water on the edge of a river, a wooded hillside behind them. One soldier wears two Territorial Force Proficiency Stars on his lower right sleeve.

[A Fusilier]

Half-length portrait of a soldier in a Fusilier Regiment. Details on the cap badge are insufficient to identify the regiment.

[Company of Welsh Regiment or Pembroke Yeomanry]

A company of soldiers from either the Welsh Regiment or the Pembroke Yeomanry photographed outdoors, a tent visible in the background. This, along with the profusion of Territorial Proficiency stars visible, suggests that this photo dates from one of the Territorial Force summer camps pre-WW1.

[Welsh Regiment Territorials, Llandeilo]

Formal group portrait of fifty or so soldiers and officers of a Welsh Regiment Territorial Force photographed outside Cartrefle, Llandeilo. A number of soldiers are wearing Territorial Proficiency Stars, whilst some others do not yet have their cap badges.

[Pembroke Yeomanry - individual photos]

Half-plate carte de visite negative containing eight individual portraits of soldiers in the Pembroke Yeomanry. The portraits are in two rows of four arranged 'têtê bêche' style. Due to deterioration only six are in good condition.
