Agreement between dominus Nicholas son of Martin [d. 1282], lord of Kenm', and Jordan de Cantington' whereby the said Nicholas granted to the said Jordan all his land between the river of Creuthyn and the land of Fiscard; he also granted to the said Jordan and his men of Kilsauey, Kilkenaweyn, Trefwrah' and Fiscard the common of pasture of Coytteuahc outside of the corn and meadow (extra bladum et pratum) and excepting places for building gardens and making cartilages as far as the river of Gweun and so ascending along the river of Gweun as far as the place where the river of Fernant falls into Gweun and so ascending along Fernant as far as Talpontesery and so from Talpontesery directly as far as the river that descends towards Trefwrath and so as far as the land of Trefwrath. For this grant the said Jordan released to the said Nicholas all the land which the latter gave to him within the ditch of the park of the said Nicholas in the land of Cruntloyn with all the common which Jordan or his men were accustomed to have there; Jordan also granted to Nicholas all the land between the river of Creuthyn and the river of gweun which Llewelyn ap Traharn formerly held. He also granted to the said Nicholas and to all his men in Coyttauath dwelling or likewise working by hand and to all his men enfeoffed (feffiatis) in his forests common of pasture through all his land between the river of Gweun and the river of Nanhescun as far as the sea.
