Much of the material is in the autographs of friends and official copyists. This volume contains letters, 1904; and notes relating to the family of Jones of Llanarth, etc.

This volume contains transcripts relating to Monmouthshire, of Chancery Proceedings, Inquisitions Post Mortem, Exchequer Bills and Answers, Exchequer Depositions, State Papers Domestic, Court of Requests Proceedings, Augmentation Office Papers, etc., 1294-1719; and letters, 1905-1913. These transcripts are in the autograph of an official copyist and were later transcribed by Bradney into various volumes of 'Notae'.

Edward I-1725; and miscellanea, including extracts from the pocket-book of the Roman Catholic Chapel in Monmouth, 1777-1794, with notes on the volumes by Bradney, and transcripts of letters, 1796-?1802, of the Duke of Beaufort relating to Parliamentary election matters in the borough of Leominster (Herefordshire).

Miscellaneous papers, notes on historical, philosophical, and medical subjects, in several hands, including that of David Williams; a copy of a declaration clearing David Williams of responsibility for writing an anonymous letter, 1769; a draft statement on the policy of admitting colonies to a full participation in the rights of the mother country; notes of proceedings on the motion of an address to the King from the inhabitants of Monmouthshire, 1795; a draft letter to Thomas Pelham, Earl of Chichester; incomplete drafts of statements on the East India Company and on the copper trade, including testimony by John Vivian and Thomas Williams; a statement by Richard Ellis, Llanbeblig, miller, concerning votes for Sir Robert Williams at a Caernarvonshire election; and a memorandum of agreement for letting rooms at Lower Sloane Street to Mary Watkins, 1822.
