Political papers of DLlG, numbered 2170-2196. These include the report of an interview with Sir Edgar Spayer relating to the Port of London Bill, 21 Aug. [1907] (2174), Asquith's notes for his speech in the House on the Irish Settlement, 10 July 1916 (2177), decypher of telegram announcing abdication of the Czar, with endorsed note by Balfour, 15 March 1917 (2178), further memorandum by the Irish delegates, 29 Oct. 1921 (2181), medical report on Terence McSwiney, 22 Oct. 1920 (2183), papers relating to the dismissal of Miss Douglas-Pennant as Commandant of the Women's Royal Air Force, 1918 (2184), and papers relating to the 1922 general election (2187-2192). The remainder is largely printed matter.

Satirical rhymes,

Satirical rhymes on parliamentary matters and personalities, numbered 2197-2234, mostly written on the back of order papers and seat cards. They appear to be the work of Sir Wilfred Lawson: they are quite in the vein of his rhymes; his signature is on one of the seat cards; the hand-writing seems to be his (cf. Ellis Papers, nos 1364-5). Many are endorsed by DLlG with a note of the debate which prompted them, and date.

Olwen Lloyd George letters,

Letters numbered 3081-3126, to Olwen LlG (later Carey Evans). Nos 3081-122 are from her mother, all but two of them in the years 1922-3 when Major and Mrs Carey Evans were in India; these letters are more expansive than most of the family letters in the collection. Nos 3123-4 are from her father, 1902. No. 3125 is from Lord Reading, 1923.
