[Dictated to Ann Underwood and Jane Townley.], 1813, letter of H[ester] L[ynch] P[iozzi] from Bath, to [John Luxmore,] Bishop of St Asaph, at the Palace, acknowledging favours received, 1820, and a letter from [Lady] Eleanor Butler [from Llangollen], to Mrs. Luxmore, [wife of the Bishop of St Asaph.], Miss Ponsonby and the writer regret their inability to accept an invitation to the Palace; are doing their utmost to establish a Sunday School at Llangollen; their efforts have had the effect of 'filling the established Church with a most interesting Congregation, in place of the very Slender attendance to which it has for Many years past been limited by the indefatigable Zeal and powerful attractions of the Methodist preachers'; account of Mr. Edwin Jacob's visit to Llangollen and his subsequent foundation of the school, [1815 x 1829].
