Clyrow and now in the occupation of the grantor, the fee simple of which he had lately acquired from Roger Gyttos of the city of Worcester and Eleanor, his wife, by deed poll dated 23 April 1590 (see 142, below) to Thomas Woodhouse of Stansbach, Herefordshire, yeoman, and John Badland of Stansbach, yeoman, to be held on trust as follows, namely, 'to the use of the aforesaid Anthony Whitney and Anna, his wife, for their lives and the survivor of them, and, after their decease, to Mary, their daughter, wife of Thomas Jenkins, gent., and to their heirs, and in default of such issue to Eleanor Kynge, wife of Roger Kynge, of p. Presteigne, co. Rad., gent., and Anne Craswall, alias Smyth, wife of John Craswall alias Smyth of Woodmanton, Herefordshire, yeoman, and then to their heirs, and failing such issue, to the right heirs of the said Anthony Whitney for ever'.
