A digital copy of a typescript in two volumes (files) of an unpublished biography of David Davies, first Baron Davies of Llandinam by Sir Charles Tennyson, The Middle House, Southwold, Suffolk, entitled “D. D.: The Life of David: First Lord Davies of Llandinam”. With some corrections and alterations in ink and pencil, and with some pages having being edited appears to have been retyped at a later date (with page numbers reflecting this). “Revised version” is written in pencil on both covers.

Several sections of the typescript are missing; chapter 2 (p. 13-24), p. 144 of chapter 12 (although the text appears to make sense), p 357 - 267 of chapter 27 and p. 385 of chapter 28. P. 451 in chapter 32 is incorrectly labelled as p.104. P. 208 is torn.

A booklet produced to commemorate the opening of the Edward Davies Chemical Laboritories at the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth on 1st November 1907 by H. H. Asquith MP. The booklet also includes a brief history of the university and the Davies family's relationship with it.
