Letters (surnames Williams-Wragg) addressed mostly to Edward Williams (Iolo Morganwg).
The correspondents include his son Taliesin Williams (Taliesin ab Iolo), 1804-1826 (Nos 637-709), his brother Thomas Williams, 1784-1804 (Nos 710-742), and Thomas Williams (Gwilym Morganwg), 1805-1819 (Nos 743-749). A few miscellaneous letters are included at the end of the volume (Nos 764-770).

The Agriculture of South Wales,

Miscellaneous observations on: (a) Agricultural Societies; (b) Weights and Measures, being notes compiled by Walter Davies (Gwallter Mechain), for Chapter XVII of his General View of the Agriculture and Domestic Economy of South Wales. At the foot of p. 1 Iolo Morganwg has written 'Glam. Agl Society, a lazy sleepy Humdrum lubbard, that does nothing at all to any valuable purpose'.

Correspondence of Edward Williams (Iolo Morganwg), comprising letters addressed to him, 1771-1826 (Nos 1-770), letters, copy letters and draft letters sent by him, [?1791]-1826 (Nos 771-1045), and miscellaneous letters, 1676-[1820x1826] (Nos 1046-1075). Most of the letters are published in The Correspondence of Iolo Morganwg, ed. by Geraint H. Jenkins, Ffion Mair Jones and David Ceri Jones, 3 vols (Cardiff, 2007).

Y Brasnadd Newydd

A collection, entitled 'Y Brasnadd Newydd Medi'r 22nd. 1817', of a hundred and sixty four hymns based on the Psalms and other portions of Scripture by Edward Williams (Iolo Morganwg), similar to those included in his Salmau yr Eglwys yn yr Anialwch, 1812 and 1834. Some of the hymns are accompanied by tunes.

Iolo Morganwg MSS

Manuscripts, [16 cent.]-[?1841], mostly collected or written by Iolo Morganwg. They include transcripts of Welsh poetry, pedigrees, grammars, and manuscripts belonging to Robert Vaughan of Hengwrt, Lewis Morris, Gwallter Mechain, Ieuan Brydydd Hir, Thomas Glyn Cothi, Richard Morris and others; literary papers of Iolo Morganwg, including hymns and psalm-tunes, English and Welsh poetry and Bardic papers; other papers including diaries, memorandum books and notebooks; and accounts of his father, Edward Williams, senior.

A bundle of loose papers contains hymns, largely crossed out, by Iolo Morganwg. One sheet which Iolo Morganwg has used contains printed Proposals for printing by subscription, the Celtic Remains... By the late Lewis Morris, esq: And augmented By Walter Davies, of All Souls College, Oxford.

He stayed at Dr Kippis's yesterday until near half past two. He has seen Mr Vaughan, who told him that there was a gentleman in town, an inhabitant of St Mary's, (? Jamaica). They are just going home where they will be glad to see the addressee and the Litany, which he finds was read after he left the addressee on Monday. Endorsed: 'Dr Williams Sydenham'.
