Title deeds for miscellaneous properties in the township of Trefarclawdd, mostly purchased by Watkin Kyffin and Sir William Williams of Glasoced; some of them may have belonged previously to the estate of Richard Edwards of Trefonnen (q.v.). Recurrent names include the Lloyd family of Llanforda, and ap Howell/Powell, Jennings and Griffith of Trefarclawdd. All the files have assorted contents, so readers may need to examine several bundles to locate deeds belonging to the same property. Many of the deeds relate to the Trehowell estate of Richard ap Robert, which was sold to Watkin Kyffin of Glascoed in 1656. Title deeds relating to Lincolnshire, mostly in connection with the grant by Queen Henrietta Maria to Sir Richard Wynn of lands in Coggisland, Alderland, part of the dissolved Abbey of Croyland, South and North Fens in the manors of Spalding, Pinchbeck, Weston and Moulton, and Deeping Fen, comprising an original deed box, 1635-1637, and further separate deeds, 1635-1653; there is also a much later deed of covenant concerning lands in Davenport, Middle Raisen, 1814.

London, Gray’s Inn chambers, title deeds and related documents,

Documents relating to chambers in Gray’s Inn, London, 1623-1694, being mostly leases made following a 60-year grant to Sir William Denny in 1628 for the purpose of extending the building, subsequently known as Denny’s Building, Holborn Court. The files comprise leases, 1623-1647; papers to prove title, 1642-1672; leases, 1651-1668; orders of the pension, receipts, etc., 1651-1685; leases, 1669-1694; and a covenant for payment of an annuity, 1688. The documents reveal much about the structure, layout, furnishings and tenants of the buildings.

London and Middlesex title deeds,

Title deeds relating to properties in London and Middlesex, of which several refer to Sir Richard Wynn, treasurer to Queen Henrietta Maria. The files describe Shepton, Middlesex, 1634; leases of miscellaneous London properties, 1634-1765; deeds and documents for London properties of Sir Richard Wynn, 1638-1650; the Manor of Wicke and Chapel of All Angels, Isleworth and Brentford, 1638-1653; Hammersmith and Holborn, 1695-1701; Tottenham High Cross, 1778; and the Ancient Music Concert Room, St. Pancras, 1785.
