File contains two typescripts: 'The first Lord Davies: A Great sportsman', ca 1945 which includes details of his hounds, and 'Major Davies' Hounds', ca 1930, which details the events of one particular hunt.

Comprises general letters, 1941-45, to Lord Davies, many concerning the course of the Second World War, interspersed with some letters from Lord Davies. In some cases related documents are attached to the letters. Significant correspondents are noted individually at file level.
