A deed of covenant for extinguishing right of common on town hill in the borough of Montgomery and allotting lands of the earl of Powis to the corporation of that borough in lieu thereof, an agreement to keep in repair fences of the said land, both 1783, an award of John Davies and Thomas Matthews of lands of the earl of Powis to the corporation of Montgomery in lieu of their common right in the wastes, 1784, and a deed to lead the uses of a fine of Town Hill and other lands in p. Montgomery, 1787, listed as being part of this parcel, in 'Powis Castle Estate Register of Muniments of Title'(now DA1)is no longer extant, at least not in the present parcel.
