They include a large number of requests from scholars and researchers seeking permission from Eirene White or Tristan Jones to consult their father's papers. There are also a few miscellaneous stray papers concerning the Thomas Jones Memorial Fund, the question of publishing material in the Jones Papers, the cataloguing of the papers by Dr Gwyn A. Williams, and a group of press cuttings containing reviews of the published diaries.

There are also fairly detailed manuscript notes by Eirene White on visits to Leicestershire, 17 February 1961, and to Coventry, 3 March 1961, to discuss educational policy and the 'Leicestershire plan'.

The fonds comprises letters, 1928-1999, to Lady White, diaries, 1936-1984, papers, 1907-1994, reflecting her career as a Labour politician, papers, 1859-1994, concerning her outside interests and activities, records, 1950-1996, deriving from Lady White's involvement in Welsh political and public life, and material, 1960-1990, concerning her activities in educational matters. There are also family papers, 1892-1992, including some relating to Lady White's father Dr Thomas Jones CH (1870-1955) and to her husband John Cameron White (1911-1968). There is also a substantial group of press cuttings and other printed material, 1919-1997. A further two boxes of papers were received in January 2007; this group remains uncatalogued.

Elphin Lloyd Jones memoir

The file consists of messages of appreciation sent to Dr Thomas Jones CH and his wife Rene in response to the publication by the Gregynog Press of a memoir of Elphin Lloyd Jones, their son who was killed in an accident in 1928. There is also a copy of a report published in 1934 on the Elphin Lloyd Jones Memorial Fund.
