Llanrhaeadr-yng-Nghinmeirch title deeds,

Title deeds relating to properties in the parish of Llanrhaeadr-yng-Nghinmeirch, relating to Llewesog, Caerserwyd, Clicedig and Llwyn, 1461, 1571-1599; Pentre Llech, 1521, 1622-1740; the Manor of Kilford, 1594, 1633; Accer y Gwndir, Llech, 1614-1616; a fee farm rent in Llech, 1629, 1727-1743; and Pennant Issa and Tu Newydd in the township of Cader, 1678-1746. Some properties were purchased by Sir William Williams and his son Sir Watkin Williams Wynn. Others appear to have belonged to the Salusbury family of Bachymbyd and Lleweni.

Llanynys, Ruthin and other parishes, title deeds,

Title deeds relating to properties mainly in the parishes of Llanynys and Ruthin, but also in other nearby parishes; some had belonged to the Thelwall family of Plas y Ward and others had been purchased by Sir Watkin Williams Wynn in the eighteenth century. Some of the bundles are original, recording the acquisition of the lands in both parishes which formed the core of the Plas y Ward estate in the early fifteenth century and subsequent leases by the Thelwall family. Many of the early deeds for Ruthin supply the names of streets, landmarks and castle officials, showing the development and occupation of the town during the late medieval and Tudor periods. Title deeds relating to properties in the parish of Llangollen, mainly acquired by Owen Vaughan of Llwydiarth and Watkin Kyffin of Glascoed. Some of the properties belonged to the Watstay estate of the Eyton family and Sir John Wynn, but several more were acquired in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries to expand the Wynnstay home estate.

Misc. Denbighshire deeds,

Miscellaneous Denbighshire deeds which may be relevant to the Wynnstay estate, although in some cases the connection is tenuous or unclear. They comprise a quitclaim of rights, dues and taxes by Robert Earl of Leicester, [?1563x1565]; a bond relating to a grant of the rectories of Chirk, Llansanffraid, Llandysilio and Bryneglwys, 1588; grant of an annuity to Sir Robert Salesbury, 1598, recovery of the manor of Llanegwest, Denbighshire rents and rectorial tithes, 1664-1668/9; and a copy will of Sir Thomas Myddelton, 1680.

Northop, title deeds,

Title deeds for properties in Caerfallwch, Northop and Halkyn, 1572-1615; and for the estate of John Jones in Caerfallwch, 1640-1675.

Llanymawddwy, title deeds,

Title deeds, mainly relating to properties in the township of Cywarch, and a smaller number in Pennant, in the parish of Llanymawddwy. Many of the properties were purchased by Gruffith and Charles Kyffin of Cae Coch and Cyffin, Montgomeryshire. Title deeds relating to properties in the parish of Llanfyllin, Montgomeryshire, most of which had been acquired by Edward Vaughan; they were mostly listed under the Llangedwyn estate in the Wynnstay rentals, although one or two had been previously entered under Llwydiarth. Other recurrent partied are Evan Vaughan of Llanfyllin, Gruffith Lloyd, clerk, and the Price family of Eglwysegl.
