Will (with Probate attached), dated 8 Nov. 1707, of Anne Powell of Combothogg in Clyrow, co. Rad., widow, whereby the testator bequeathed as follows: my estate of Combothogg to Walter Wynstone, son of George Wynstone of Talgarth, co. Brec., provided he pay the legacies mentioned - £30 to William Wynston, second son of George Wynstone, 6 months after he attain the age of 21; 5s. to Elizabeth Wynstone of Brelley, Herefordshire, my niece, and the least of my pewter dishes; 20s. per year to my nephew John Wynstone for life; 20s. to Syble, wife of William Morgan of Cusopp; 20s. to Elizabeth Price, sister of Sybill, and 20s. each of them respectively when Walter Wynstone attains the age of 21; £20 to Thomas Griffiths, my kinsman (now out of the country and unknown whether living or dead), if he returns home in a necessitous condition within one year of my decease, to be paid by Walter Wynstone 6 months after attaining the age of 21 One feather bed and covering called the little bed to Sybill Morgan within one week of my death. One feather bed and coverlid to Margaret, wife of George Wynstone. All other household stuff - brass, pewter, woollen, linen ('linnen') to William Wynstone, whom I appoint sole executor. 20s. to Mary Thomas, paid upon Walter Wynstone attaining the age of 21. Witnesses: George Wynstone, Elinor Griffiths, Hen. Davies. Probate granted 31 May 1708. An Inventory of all goods of Anne Powell, dec. the 23 March past, amounting to £17.10.0. Witnesses: Thomas Lloyd, Humphrey Bromwidge. Receipt on back of deed dated 30 April 1720 from William Winston for £30, paid him by his brother, Walter Whinston, as legacy from Anne Powell. Witnesses: Walt. Whitney, Hen. Williams, Francis Whitney.

Will, dated 16 Nov. 1729, of Bridget, wife of Marmaduke Gwynne of Llyswen, co. Brec., esq., only daughter of Thomas Williams of Velin newydd, esq., dec. Testator (after reciting an agreement between Thomas Williams, dec., Richard Davies, and Pennoyre Watkins, esq., to settle £1,000 on the said Bridget upon Marmaduke Gwynne, her father-in-law, giving up his estate in co. Glam. to his son subject to the payment of £3,700; and after reciting the agreement, whereby Thomas Williams, brother of the said Bridget, became administrator for Bridget Williams, his sister, Jenkin Williams, his brother, Bridget Gwynne, his sister, and for himself, of the estate of Thomas Williams, dec., his father, who died intestate) bequeaths as follows: the residue of my father's estate, now due to me on trust, to Thomas Williams for the maintenance and education of my son Marmaduke Howell, Thomas Gwynne, and any other child up to the age of 21, or until their marriage. If the child or children die unmarried and before they become 21 years of age, the interest from this residue to be paid to Marmaduke Gwynne, my husband, for his life, and then in equal shares to Thomas Williams and Jenkin Williams, whom I appoint guardians of my children, and I appoint Thomas Williams sole executor.
