Settlement made before the marriage of the said Sir Henry Vaughan and Elizabeth Herbert, being a covenant to levy at the next Great Sessions held for the county of Carmarthen, a fine of a capital messuage called Derwyth with its demesne lands and appurtenances; other messuages and lands and a water grist mill called Derwyth Mill in the parish of Landebye; messuages and lands in the parishes of Lanvihagell and Landilo Vawr including a parcel in Kilghyen Close; a tucking-mill, and a water grist mill called Ffaire Vach Mill; and a capital mansion called the White House with its demesne lands and appurtenances in the said parish of Landilo Vawr; also properties in the parishes of Bettus and Langaddog and the county borough of Carmarthen; all in co. Carms., to the use of the parties of the third party so that they may become tenants of the freehold of the said properties for the suffering of a common recovery by double voucher, to specified uses and limitations.
