William Tho[ma]s, Nant y Saer, Llanegwad Parish,

Writer desires recipient to stop the payment of the interest of £50, left by Mr Tho[ma]s Daniel, late of Penllwynau, to writers son, whose wife Lettuce Thomas of the parish of Llanegwad is great with child by a Dissenting preacher, on whose account the money was chiefly expended; writer's son, by whom she has two children, lives in the West Indies; writer requests payment of the said money towards the maintenance of these children and settling them in some trade. [D. Nicholl, curate of Llanegwad, testifies to the truth of the above]. Damaged.

In part of the cash for a bill drawn by writer's father in Edwards's favour for £100, the Llandovery Bank sent writer a bill drawn by Mr Maybery upon recipient for £20, which has not been accepted; Mr Thomas Price consequently threatens to enforce the execution; recipient is requested to give the cash for it to writer's clerk.

Mr Lewis of Landilo and recipient have fixed the sum Thomas James was to have paid writer, who has consented to include the site of the two old houses in Stone Street in Thomas James's conveyances. Damaged.
