He has written to Mr Jno. Jones of Brecon, solicitor, on the subject of furnishing the swords and javelins for the men of 'our' high sheriff, L. P. Jones, esq.; recipient is requested to write a note in writer's favour.

Mr Jones will be at Carmarthen to Qu[ar]t[e]r Sess[io]ns; recipient is requested to bring some papers relating to the business with him; writer would not push him for the children's money except a little for clothes for Jane to go to a situation, one at Bath being likely to be obtained; at present she remains with Miss Borrows.

Mr Jones wishes to reserve in the settlement a power for [his] daughter for want of issue of bequeathing £500; writer has not the least objection; with due respect to Mrs Jones and recipient. Damaged.
