German propaganda sheet,

German propaganda sheet claiming American financial aid will lead to England's financial ruin. It was picked up by John Parry 'on the field of battle outside a village called Deerlyk [Deerlijk], Oct. 29, 1918' (note on dorse).

A pocket notebook containing diary entries, May-December 1917, of Driver John Parry. His diary entries for 1918 (see item ix) have subsequenly (15 April 1919) been copied by him into the volume. The volume also contains miscellaneous memoranda.
