Hardy and Page (record agents) reports and transcripts,

Reports on, together with transcripts and translations, 1868-1937, of records held mainly at the old Public Record Office, now The National Archives (TNA), prepared by Messrs Hardy and Page, record agents, Lincoln's Inn, London, together with relevant legal papers, some drawn up by James G. Wood (1843-1928). The searches were undertaken at the request of solicitors, and used as evidence in legal disputes, often relating to manorial lands throughout Wales, including foreshore rights, mineral rights, and fishery rights.

Estate infrastructure,

Papers relating to estate infrastructure at Cefn Cribwr, 1771-1785, including notes on the state of the roads at the forge; plans for two new canals at the forge and at a small colliery nearby; and some notes on stirring canals, improving meadows by mixing canal soils and lime, and on mending a broken dam. The file also contains pages from various booklets on water wheels and troughs; justifications for using one water wheel at Cefn Cribwr; and a printed plan of the canal from Coventry to Oxford, 1771.

Material relating to public health,

Two volumes containing reports, correspondence, statistics, replies to questionnaires, etc., all relating to public health, infectious diseases, sanitation, housing, etc., accumulated or written by Morgan James Rees when he was medical officer of health in Aberdare and afterwards in the employ of the Local Government Board. They relate to Aberdare, Caernarvon, St Dogmaels Rural District Council and Swansea, also to certain districts in England.
