A typescript collection of poems entitled 'Six Valley Images & Other Poems' compiled by J. M. Lewis in 1993, and a copy of 'Poems' sent by him to Meic Stephens in 1988, with related correspondence, 1977-1991, including letters from Gillian Clarke, R. Gerallt Jones and Meic Stephens; together with correspondence, 1986, between J. M. Lewis and Anthony Powell relating to the dialogue of Welsh soldiers in the latter's book The Valley of Bones (London, 1964).

Some eighty letters, 1957-75, to Keidrych Rhys from various correspondents (surnames R-S), mainly in his capacity as editor of Wales and Welsh correspondent of The People, together with poems, short stories and essays submitted to him for publication. The correspondents and contributors include Alun Richards (9, with one story) 1959-62, John Sparrow (3) 1965, Stephen Spender (1) 1961, and Meic Stephens (10, with nine poems) 1957-68.

The poems included in the anthology appeared between 1974 and 1976, though it seems they were composed, and some published, before this period.
