A composite volume made up of notebooks, etc. in the autograph of Ebenezer Thomas ('Eben Fardd') containing notes on 'Evidences of Christianity' ('From Abbott', 'Paley's Evidences') and on Latin grammar, copies of memorial inscriptions (Clynnog churchyard, Llanarmon churchyard), pedigrees, 'Biosianos' (a few autobiographical notes ending 1839) etc.; 'Caniadau sef Awdlau, Cywyddau, ac Englynion ynghyd a Chaniadau ar amryw fesurau eraill o waith Ebenezer Thomas neu Cybi o Eifion y rhai a ysgrifenodd, pan oedd yn ysgol Tydweiliog ei oedran 18. Gorffen haf 4. 1821', being early poetical compositions by 'Eben Fardd', 1819-24, one or two crossed out; another notebook containing 'The Pedigree of Rowland Jones of Broom Hall Esq. Extracted from the Works of his Father, Row. Jones of Hendre, and afterwards of the Inner Temple London, Esqr. A composite volume compiled by John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd') containing press cuttings, pedigrees (transcribed in part from manuscripts of Owen Griffith, Llanystumdwy, Ebenezer Thomas, ('Eben Fardd') and Ellis Owen, Pant Phylip, Llangelynin), and miscellaneous papers, including pedigrees in various hands and letters, some pasted in or inset, others loose. The correspondents include Owen Evans, Broom Hall, 1875, R. O. Williams, Bangor, 1846 (copy), Edw. H. Owen, Ty Coch, [18]93 and 1896, and Jno. E. Griffith, Bangor, [19]10. There is material, chiefly press cuttings, concerning Richard Lloyd Edwards, Nanhoron, Rowland Jones, Broom Hall (also known as Rowland Jones, Weirglodd Fawr) and his father, Rowland Jones the philologist, Sir Love Jones Parry, Madryn, and others. One or two items in the volume appear to be in the autograph of Ebenezer Thomas ('Eben Fardd') and the loose papers include a pedigree of Ucheldref, Gwyddelwern in an early eighteenth century hand (damaged). Another pedigree headed 'Llannerch fawr' is dated 'Machynlleth Feb. 1861' and is connected with the Reverend John Evans (1815-91), afterwards archdeacon of Merioneth (?transcript), and the volume also contains one or two notes in the autograph of Jonathan Jones, Caernarvon. Letter 'U' on spine.

A volume containing transcripts of most of the letters contained in Cwrtmawr MS 478B (letters of Morris Williams ('Nicander') to Ebenezer Thomas ('Eben Fardd') etc.).

A volume written largely in the autograph of Ebenezer Thomas, ('Eben Fardd') and described on the title-page as 'Llyvyr y Llwythau Cymreig yn cynwys Taflenau Achol o'r Pum Llwyth Breninol a Phymtheg Llwyth Gwynedd ynghyd a Byrdraith hanesiol am Sylfaenwyr yr amrywiol Lwythau a Gwroniaid Cymreig eraill Eu Preswylfeydd, Tiriogaethau, Paisarfau a Disgynyddion. Casgledig gan Ebenezer Thomas, Clynnog, Hâf 1843.' At the beginning of the volume are 'A Map of North Wales' [Anglesey and West Caernarvonshire] and a list of the contents to p. 69. More than half of the volume is blank but the written pages after p. 69 contain, among other things, details of 'Villas [Vills] in Eifionydd' ('Abridged from a letter of the Rev. J. Jones Llanllyfni to Ellis Owen Esq. Cefny meusydd'), pedigrees of Rhwngyddwyryd (Dolbenmaen), Rhiw and Bodfel (Llŷn), and Cefn Coch in Anglesey, etc., 'Carol Nadolig, 1859 - ar "Diolch i Ti yr Hollalluog Dduw &c"' by E. Thos ('Eben Fardd'), a petition (draft), undated, from Jane Jones of Penarfynydd in the parish of Abererch, Caernarvonshire to the bishop of Bangor and the other trustees of the Llandwrog Almshouses, particulars of the ancestry of Tho[ma]s E. Roberts, Hendre, Abereirch sent by him to Eben Fardd, 24 July 1861, and a printed prospectus, undated, of 'The Works of the Bards of Llyn and Eifionydd, collected by Myrddin Fardd'. Loose between pp. 27 and 28 are notes by J. Jones, Llanllyfni, May 1844, headed 'A. D. 1352. Hanes ardrethol Cwmmwd Isgorfai', and pasted on to these or vice versa is a printed sheet concerning Gwydir Chapel, Llanrwst (J. Jones, Printer, Llanrwst). Facing the title-page of the volume is a label bearing the words 'Llyfr Achau ac Arfbeisiau y 5 Llwyth Breninol a 15 Llwyth Pendefigol Gwynedd ynghyd au Disgynyddion, &c.' and above it John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd') has written 'Costiodd y Llyfr yma i mi ddwy bunt heblaw talu am ei rwymo wedi hyny.'

A volume containing about ninety letters, 1840-63, from the Reverend Morris Williams ('Nicander'), writing from Bangor, Amlwch and Llanrhyddlad, to Ebenezer Thomas ('Eben Fardd'), with a draft copy of one letter, 1850, from 'Eben Fardd' to 'Nicander'. A few of the letters have been printed in Adgof Uwch Ahghof. Also in the volume are a letter, 1865, from 'Nicander' to an unnamed correspondent and two letters, 1868, one incomplete, from 'Nicander' to [Richard Roberts] 'Bardd Treflys'. At the end of the volume are three letters, 1862, from Eunice Jones (Liverpool), daughter of Peter Jones ('Pedr Fardd'), writing from Clifton and Llanrhyddlad Rectory, to 'Eben Fardd' (enquiring about the connection between her father's family on his mother's side and the Wynnes of Glyn Llifon; 'englynion' by 'Pedr Fardd'). Pasted into the volume near the beginning is a cutting containing a letter, 1849, from M. Williams, ['Nicander'], Amlwch to John James ('Ioan Meirion'); there is also a loose cutting of a photograph of 'Nicander'.

A composite volume containing poetical compositions in strict and free metre by, and in the autograph of, Ebenezer Thomas ('Eben Fardd'). The wording on the title-page of the first part of the volume is 'Cyfansoddion Barddonol gan Ebenezer Thomas, Clynnog. 1843' but some of the items in the section are later than this date. The remainder of the manuscript appears to consist of two other sections, the one containing miscellaneous poems, some dated, c. 1833-60, the other containing 'Y Cleopiad', 1847, and a number of 'englynion'. Alterations and interlineations have been made in some of the poems. Besides the Welsh poems - many of which, though not all, are included in Gweithiau Barddonol, &c. Eben Fardd [?1873] - the volume contains a few items of English verse. There are also one or two printed items, including a sheet of harvest hymns entitled 'Hymnau Cynauaf' by Ebenezer Thomas, 1843 (Caernarfon: Argraffwyd gan James Rees).

An adjudication (incomplete), prefaced by some general suggestions by and in the autograph of Ebenezer Thomas ('Eben Fardd'), for the Dinorwig Literary Society festival, 16 June 1855 ('Awgrymiadau ar Feirniadaeth Gymreig ynghyd â Beirniadaeth neillduol ar y Cyfansoddiadau ar yr Egwyddor Wirfoddol, a rhai Testynau eraill, o eiddo Cymdeithas Lenyddol Dinorwig, erbyn eu Gwyl Lenyddol, Mehefin 16eg. 1855'), subsequently printed in Y Traethodydd, 1908, pp. 401-407, where John Jones ('Myrddin Fardd') is acknowledged as the source.

It appears that an item in the autograph of John Elias was at one time to be found between letters 20 and 21. Some of the letters have been published in Adgof Uwch Anghof.

A volume almost entirely in the hand of Ebenezer Thomas ('Eben Fardd') containing pedigrees mainly of North Wales families (e.g. 'Achau awdur y Bardd Cwsg' [i.e. Ellis Wynne], the families of Herbert of Powis, etc., Mostyn of Mostyn, etc., Salisbury of Lleweni, Hanmer of Hanmer, Meirick of Bodorgan, etc.). Inset is a pedigree chart by 'Eben Fardd' entitled 'Llwyth Ceridwen-Gwehelyth Llên ac Awenydd Eifion yn y XIX Ganrif' (references to Owen Owens ('Owain Lleyn'), Robert Williams ('Robt. ap Gwilym Ddu'), Ellis Owen, Cefnymeusudd, Robt. Isaac Jones ('Alltud Eifion'), Ebenezer Thomas ('Eben Vardd'), etc.), together with an undated covering letter by the scribe.
