An extremely cluttered drawing room full of various pieces of furniture, ornaments, paintings, flower arrangements, rugs and cushions.
An animated farmyard with horses, foals and people beyond which is a timbered farmhouse.

A small valley with meadows adjacent to a small stream. The sides of the valley are lightly wooded and above the treetops in the centre of the image can be seen a large house. One of the meadows contains a small agricultural building.

Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant with the Plough Inn (landlord E.J. Hughes) on the left. On the right can be seen an enamelled sign advertising Home & Colonial Tea. In the 1911 census Edward John Hughes aged 48 is listed as the landlord of the Plough Inn.
