Original bundle of letters from James Ashcroft Noble, usually of The Grove, Wandsworth, to Coulson Kernahan of Southend on Sea, 30 Jan. 1893-25 Dec. 1895. Also signed copies of poems: 'A lover in June', March 1894, 'To a sonneteer', May 1894. James Ashcroft Noble was the father of Helen Thomas, Edward Thomas's wife.

Sussex, poet and publisher, to Geoffrey Woolley, 24 Aug. 1939-10 Dec. 1950, including discussing Guthrie's 'To the memory of Edward Thomas' (Flansham: The Pear Tree Press, 1937) (11 Jan. 1940); Woolley's purchase of Edward Thomas letters (see L 13, 9 July 1942), which had previously been in Guthrie's possession, 'but a friend wanted them and I let them go' (3 Aug. 1942); and 'Yes, that was a terrible loss, of Alun Lewis. What can one say?' (18 April 1944).

Herts, to Geoffrey Woolley, mainly 10 Nov. 1939-10 Nov. 1953, plus single items 1970, 1976 and 1977, including Llewelyn's criticism of Woolley's first novel, 15-26 March 1940, news that John was reported missing, 30 March 1942, and an invitation to the presentation of the Cymmrodorion Medal to Llewelyn, March 1970.
