[Sabrina moored in an unknown port]

"Sabrina" moored in an unknown, probably Italian, port. AJS 257 is of the same port; on one of the buildings is 'Ente Bacini', which today is a shipyard in Genoa, suggesting that this view could also be of Genoa.

[A J Sylvester with his cine camera]

Two successive frames from a cine-film taken by A J Sylvester at the time of David Lloyd George's visit to Germany in 1936. These show A J Sylvester with his cine camera held up to his eye. Presumably shot in a mirror.

[David and Margaret Lloyd George on recliners aboard a ship]

David & Margaret Lloyd George sitting on the deck of a ship. Both are sitting on reclining chairs, and swathed in blankets. Margaret is reading a broadsheet newspaper, David Lloyd George appears to be writing. On page 160 of 'The Real Lloyd George' (London, 1947) A J Sylvester writes "As usual, he wrote these in his own hand whilst sitting wrapped up in rugs on the deck." This photo is believed to be from his 1927-8 visit to Brazil and taken aboard the Blue Star Liner 'Avelona.'
