[Four people aboard a ship]

L-R A bespectacled middle aged gent, lady in two piece suit, young lady in fur trimmed coat, gent in dark suit and hat photographed on the deck of a ship.Very similar to PZ7890/4.

[Aerodrome and plane]

An aeroplane on the ground at an unknown aerodrome. The plane is seen from a distance but is very similar to a Dornier Do-X seaplane. The Do-X was financed by the German Transport Ministry and built in a specially designed plant at Altenrhein, on the Swiss portion of Lake Constance, in order to circumvent the Treaty of Versailles which forbade any aircraft exceeding set speed and range limits to be built in Germany after World War I. The plane was completed in 1929. In his diary A J Sylvester writes that the Lloyd George entourage witnessed it taking off on a trial flight on Sept 4th 1929.

[The Lloyd George entourage in Freudenstadt]

David Lloyd George and others walking along a street in Freudenstadt. Sequentially this photo was taken prior to PZ7890/50 but after PZ7890/54. A sign behind them reads 'Eier/Butter Kase.' A similar photo to AJS050 appears in the Daily Express of Sept 5th 1929.

[Spa Conference delegates]

Four delegates at the Spa Conference seated on steps outdoors. Three are in military uniform. The fourth is Japanese and dressed in a suit and tie. The central figure is holding a cat. The photo has a Belgian stamp in the lower left hand corner postmarked 12/VII/1920 with a special handstamp. The circular handstamp reads "Conference Diplomatique Diplomatische Conference." This suggests the image originates from a postcard.

[Rural landscape]

A flat, almost featureless plain with a village centre right. Reminiscent of the Picardy landscape this is possibly the site of a WW1 battle.

[Sapling]

A sapling, seemingly newly planted in a field with others. Possibly at Ty Newydd.
