The Welsh Quoits Archive, comprising material relating to British quoiting, the majority of the material relating to quoiting in Wales, including: match programmes, posters and flyers, match listings and statistics; rules and regulations of quoiting; press cuttings relating to quoiting matches, quoiting clubs and club members; newsletters; correspondence between quoiting clubs, between individual club members and between clubs and members of the public; items relating to notable quoiting club occasions such as centenaries and anniversaries; and miscellaneous material relating to quoiting, including information relating to the history of the game. The bulk of the material relates to quoiting in Wales, mainly involving international matches (the majority of which were against Scotland) played on Welsh soil. One particularly notable item is a copy of a printed booklet titled The History of Quoits in Wales by Albert Baker (published by J. R. Davies in 1949), which is enclosed with a letter, 14 December 2000, to Linda Evans, Joint Secretary of the Welsh Quoiting Board, from Darryl Baker, grandson of the author (see under heading Quoiting: Wales: Correspondence: Letters to Linda Evans).

The file comprises papers, 1935-1976, relating to Mrs Nell Pennell's research into the earliest Welsh Cob stables, including correspondence, notebooks, draft and published articles. Further letters, 1928-1949, relating to the Welsh Pony and Cob Society from Edgar Herbert; Jones, Dinarth Hall, Llandudno; Tom Jones Evans, Craven Arms; Major Careless, Solicitor, Llandrindod Wells; Mrs Pennell; and Miss Brodrick, Coed Coch were received in 2012.

Pamphlets and papers, 1970-1987, accumulated by W. D. Michael relating to Welsh political issues including Wales TUC, John Jenkins, the Miners' strike and the Ffestiniog quarrymen's strike, the Socialist Republican Party of Wales, Welsh Railways, the Development Board for Rural Wales and the Welsh Committee of the Communist Party; together with material on student politics at University College, Swansea, and other colleges, collected whilst the donor was secretary of University College Swansea Socialist Society in the 1970s.

The collection consists of election addresses, leaflets, circulars and other printed matter, 1837-1999, generally acquired before the establishment of the Welsh Political Archive; election addresses, leaflets etc., 1905-2024, collected by the WPA; and printed materials, 1887-2024, concerning the political parties in Wales, various pressure groups and organisations, subject files, and other miscellaneous papers.

Papers, 1992-7, relating to the research and production of Professor Tony Curtis, Welsh Painters Talking (Seren Books, 1997), comprising correspondence, photographs and typescript drafts of interviews between Tony Curtis and the artists included in the volume, namely Iwan Bala, Charles Burton, Felicity Charlton, Arthur Giardelli, John Knapp-Fisher, Shani Rhys James, Sally Moore, Peter Prendergast, Will Roberts, Kevin Sinnott, Kyffin Williams and Ernest Zobole. Correspondence, papers and press cuttings, 1911-1912, relating to the Welsh Nationalist League (Cyngrair Cenedlaethol Cymreig), formed at Caernarfon in January 1911 to press for Home Rule for Wales on federal lines and organised by Dr Edward Lloyd Owen ('Iorwerth Feddyg') and John Williams ('Cambrensis'), both of Cricieth. There are also a few papers relating to the St David's Order of Chivalry (Urdd Arwrol Dewi Sant), founded in 1912. The correspondence, mainly addressed to 'Cambrensis', includes letters from W. Llewelyn Williams, MP, Walter F. Roch, MP, Sir J. Herbert Lewis, MP, Francis Edwards, MP, E. T. John, MP (8), Clement Edwards, MP, the Reverend E. Tyrrell-Green, Beriah Gwynfe Evans (2), Silyn Roberts and Lord Harlech.
