Elwyn Jones's diary of a trip from East Berlin (4 April) to Moscow (4-6) and Peking (8-14) at the invitation of "the Chinese Association of Political Sciences & Law to study their administration of justice & I visited prisons, attended several trials, & met [--] leading judges lawyers & law makers of China." After the diary are pages of notes, including on religion in Shanghai, Beijing divorce, and village divorce at Nann Yuen [=Nanyuan?] village court outside Beijing.
