Observations on the sufficiency of fines levied upon a m., mill and lands called Porth y Croyse, cottages called Tyr Ryd y Pontan and Tyr y Cilvache and several closes called Tyr William David, [p. Llanynys, co. Brec.], in 1690 and 1692, in a suit between John Davies, plaintiff, and Rebecka Williams, widow of Jeffrey Williams, dec., defendant. The observations contain an interesting account of Rebecka Williams' actions and complaints against her indebted husband.

W. to John Davies of Serjeants Inne, Fleete Streete, London, gent., for a consideration of £335, of a m. called Porthy Croyse, Teere Dol Havred, Teere y Traian and Teer y Keelvache, bounded by the river Irfon and a brook called Nant Rhidapentane (other boundaries given) and a water corn mill called Melyn y Reed ar Irvon, an assignment of judgment, dated 10 Dec. 1685, of Sir Thomas Williams, bart, to J. D. against J. W. for £100 plus costs (recites no. 122), and a general release by Sir T. W. to J. W. [see no. 125], that the said general release was obtained by him without any consideration given to Sir T. W., and it was not intended by either party that the general release should release or discharge the judgment assigned to J. D., but the said judgment should remain in full force and effect. Seal.
