The letters, written at Tŷ Newydd, Llanystumdwy, between October and December 1944, contain mainly personal, local and domestic news, including many references to Lloyd George and to the welcome which they have received in the village. There are some references to events at Llanystumdwy.

Letters to Frances Stevenson

The series consists of files of letters addressed to Frances, some are personal, others are sent to her in her official capacity as private secretary to D. Lloyd George. Many of the correspondents are prominent politicians and public figures. Most of the later files of letters concern writings about Lloyd George and projects to commemorate his memory, notably the Lloyd George Museum at Llanystumdwy.

Most of the letters were written by Miss Parry in her capacity as curator of the Lloyd George Museum at Llanystumdwy, Cricieth. They discuss the layout of the museum grounds, the management of adjacent properties and the delineation of their boundaries, the maintenance of the gardens, and the organization of exhibitions and catalogues. There are many references to attendance figures and to ways of attracting increased numbers of visitors and to meetings of the museum management committee. Some letters refer to events held to commemorate Lloyd George.

The file contains letters from Rebecca West referring to the proposed publication of a volume by Messrs Methuen which has passages about Miss West and about D. Lloyd George, requesting Lloyd George to autograph a photograph of himself for a Macedonian abbot, and giving the writer's reaction to the publication of A. J. Sylvester's The Real Lloyd George (1947).
