It includes letters from Dr Gwynfor Evans, Peter Thomas MP (later the Lord Thomas of Gwydir) and Dafydd Williams, general secretary of Plaid Cymru.

A manuscript in the autograph of Evan Evans (Ieuan Fardd) containing triads (pp. 1-32); poetry, the poets cited including Taliesin, Dafydd ap Gwilym, Siôn Cent and Gruffydd Dwnn (pp. 33-86, 95-102); a list of Welsh holy (saints') days (pp. 87-90); names of Welsh rivers and their sources (pp. 91-94); etc. The volume also contains an appendix in the hand of D[avid] Ellis, [1787x1788]. The section containing triads is apparently left unfinished as most of p. 32 and the whole of p. 33 are blank.

Eleven notebooks containing a draft script, [c. 1989], by Eigra Lewis Roberts, with some revision, of the fifth series of the television drama serial 'Minafon', produced by Ffilmiau Eryri for S4C and broadcast in eight episodes in 1990.

The series comprises local election leaflets, 1946-1947, c.1950-1992, (with gaps, mainly 1960s and 1970s), relating to Communist Party candidates in South Wales. Files WE 5/3-22 also include election results, and papers relating to the arrangements of the campaigns.

Photocopies of papers assembled by Neil Evans whilst researching the Senghennydd mining disaster, 1913, including transcripts of letters from Will Fisher, one of the rescue team, to his cousin; a diary ('the little black book') of the rescue work which inspired Luther Thomas to write his novel The Deep of the Earth (London,1956); together with book reviews and letters, 1966, from the author; and a photocopy of Rev Emlyn Stephens, History of Ebenezer English Baptist Church Senghenydd 1896-1946.
