A tune book of Griffith Williams, Griolen, Llanuwchllyn, containing songs, hymn-tunes, and anthems. Eight of the compositions are attributed, seven to J. D. Jones, Ruthin, and one to E. S. Jones. Two of the compositions are written to words by Samuel Roberts ('S. R.'), Llanbryn-mair, and one to words by (Lewis (or Llewelyn?) Edwards] 'Llewelyn Twrog'.

The tune book of William Jones, 1800, containing psalm-tunes, hymn-tunes, anthems, etc., by Hugh Jones, Pen y Bwth, Llandwrog, W[illia]m Hughes, Bryn y Beddau, John W[illia]ms, Dolgellau, Robert Griffith, Caernarvon, John Evans, Ty mawr, Llanddeiniolen, and John Jeffreys. Many of the pieces are unattributed. Written on the inside covers and elsewhere are a metrical psalm by W[illiam] Williams, Llandegai, and unsigned hymns.

A tune and song book in the hand of David Thomas, miller, of Pentrefoelas, co. Denbigh, previously of Felin Pandy, Penmachno, co. Caernarvon. Bound in at the beginning of the volume is Rheolau Cymdeithas Gantorawl Cerrig y-druidion . . . a sefydlwyd Chwefror 28, 1838.

A composite volume containing John Parry ('Y Telynor Dall'): Antient British Music ... (London, 1742), A Collection of Welsh, English & Scotch Airs ... (London [1752]), and British Harmony ... (London, 1781), and a manuscript of John Parry containing arias, minuets, overtures, concertos, Welsh airs, etc., partly with variations by John Parry himself and by Evan Williams [bookseller, London]. Copious manuscript annotations have been added by Nicholas Bennett. Also bound or pasted down in the volume are a note on provenance by E[van] D. J[ones], [19]07; a comment by Carl Engel on Antient British Music ...; an invoice from Bernard Quaritch, London, to N. Bennett, 1888, for Antient British Music ...; a portrait of John Parry; a list by Mary Davies, 1911, of 'Names of tunes written in a copy of Ancient British Music ... 1742 belonging to R. Morris now in British Museum in Addit. MSS. 14939'; critical observations by D. Emlyn Evans on individual songs in Antient British Music ...; and holograph letters from D. (Caernarfon, 1852) (ff. 7-72). A note in pencil on f. 1, probably in the hand of Philip Thomas, suggesting 'Shenkin Dounie, Harpist, Neath' to have been the scribe is probably an error for John Dounie [Downey], harpist, the Mera, Neath (see E. E. Williams, 'The queen of the Mera', Neath Antiquarian Society Transactions (1979), 6-7). Also included is a printed advertisement for John Ambrose Lloyd, Casgliad o Donau... (1843) (f. 210).
